Possible Next Project?

I’m sure how to create a poll, but I was trying to see what the interest level on a subbing project for this drama was. It’ll most likely be subbed off the RMVB’s if I can get a hand on them.

If there are any other Mandarin dramas that need subtitles you can suggest it here as well.

well I for one would be delighted if Good Morning Shanghai could be english subbed it makes no mind if it RM files, also old school it only been over the last few year that High Quality Videos have been used in fan subbing, back in the old days RM was the norm.

I would love to have Yan Zhi Xue (Rouge Snow) and Xin Shang Hai Tan (New Shang Hai Tan) in English subtitle.

Cannot understand the the drama at all without English subtitle.

there are streaming sites it can be downloaded from but that is flv files and I do not think the pic quality would be very good after converting them, though the file size is about the same as RM. There also Torrents but as this drama over a year old, not well seeded so could take forever, lol.
I can try to use my megaupload account and up load either the RM files or if you like I can convert them to avi and uplaod those. Of course due to where I live my upload speed is dailup so well take about one a day with luck. But if needed I be happy to give it a try, as I can not help in any other way.

will add each link as they uploaded, even with a small 160 meg file it took almost 4 hour for me to up load, but it going to take you a week? to do the subbing and timing and what not, so I think I can keep up with you ..:-)

okay. i have been looking everywhere for subs of this drama as i know 0% of chinese.
i don’t understant why there isn’t even one in the first place? there are krn subs but only up to epi 18 which also i dont understand why they would do it up to 18.i mean i would think there any many chinese jangnara fans and ive heard this drama did well in ratings in china so why wouldn’t it have been subbed as soon as it came out?

I would love LOVE LOVE for them to sub this show! I have been looking for this show for so long! And I have been DYING to see it!! it kills me when people talk about how good it is I want to be on the action as well. PLEASE HELP ME BE ABLE TO WATCH THIS!! Thanks for picking up GMS <3 I’m currently trying to watch some more Chinese/Taiwanese dramas instead of too much Korean/Japanese stuff.

I’ve been wondering if you need any help with subbing? We can’t really offer you help in translating but we can support you with anything else^^
We are planning on subbing “Till Death Do Us Apart” (Bie Ai Wo) but we don’t have any translators nor can we get a hold of raws. And the VCDs seem to be out-of-stock at YesAsia :/

  I’m actually really busy lately, I haven’t even had time to watch drama much less translate haha. Perhaps in the summer you can contact me again about this. For the time being GMS is on hold but if you have people who time or translate or produce hard subbed videos let me know, maybe we can get our own little subbing group together for Chinese dramas selectively.

We only have Japanese/Vietnamese translators on the team. Any other position is filled, so just let me know when you get more leisure time you wanna spend on subbing (:

it been releases on dvd with viet subs I believe or so I read Have not seen it for sale on any site to confrim as yet, maybe on the coming soon list and the site i read about it was Vietnamese and I do not understand the lang..:-)
Still if it still getting translated and sold in other lang..maybe english well be next….wishes are free

Kinda rare that they provide DVD with Viet SUBS. They usually dub everything… very strange.
Nonetheless, I’m Vietnamese heritage-wise and could use the Viet version to help with spotting in case anybody needs a spotter, lol.

Seems I got it wrong even to the lang used..lol here the real info

It’s recorded from Thai cable TV (UBC) so it’s Thai dubbed. The voice isn’t too bad but ,of course, not as good as her voice.

The copyright DVD is not for sale yet but usually the UBC don’t make DVD for the series, it just show on cable. I hope someday, some company will make this series on DVD.

Pity, the same thing happened with Bratty Princess in the Philippines it was voiced dubbed for local TV use rather than a DVD release.

plus the DVD says it lang is Chinese or Korean….wonder it Nara did the korean voice or they got someone to dub her..that would be crazy enough to be done..lol
